ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Richard A. Passwater, Ph.D. is one of the most called-upon authorities in preventative health care. A noted biochemist, he is credited with popularizing the term “supernutrition” in such books as Supernutrition: Megavitamin Revolution and the New Supernutrition. His many other works include Cancer Prevention and Nutritional Therapies and Phcnogenol. Dr. Passwater lives in Berlin, Maryland, where he is the director of a research laboratory.
James South, M.A. has been a nutrition consultant, writer, lecturer and teacher for 25 years. He was director of research and product formulator for one of America’s major vitamin companies from 1987 to 1995. His master’s degree is in the philosophy of biology, psychology and medicine. He is currently serving as director of research for an international antiaging clinic opening in Europe in 1998.
