Description
Creatine is produced naturally in both humans and animals form the amino acids L-Arginine, Glycine and L-Methionine. Creatine is converted into Creatine Phosphate in muscle tissue where it, in turn, converts ADP to ATP to replace ATP consumed during exercise. Muscle fatigue occurs when the supply of Creatine Phosphate is exhausted and ADP can no longer be converted. The book "Creatine - Nature's Muscle Builder" contains additional information and case studies.
Jo Mar has found an excellent source of high quality 100% pure Creatine Monohydrate and we are able to offer it at a very competitive price. Because Creatine has basically no taste and the fact that most people take large amounts (up to 30 grams a day) we do not currently offer capsules. The powder is water soluble and weighs about 3.5 grams per level measuring teaspoon.
