Description
This sulfur containing amino acid prevents excess fat buildup in the liver. It belongs to a group called Lipotropics including betaine, inositol, and choline. L-Methionine converts to L-Cysteine, which then converts to Glutathione. All three of these aminos are excellent antioxidants. L-Methionine can help prevent hair loss, strengthen nails, and brighten skin. It is one of three amino acids needed to create Creatine in the body.
