Description
This essential amino acid is notable for its ability to fight cold sores and herpes virus infections; it helps to lessen outbreaks by inhibiting the uptake of L-Arginine, which exacerbates the virus. L-Lysine is also the precursor for Carnitine production in the body.
Jo Mar's L-Lysine is 100% pure U.S.P. grade crystalline free form. The powder is water soluble, has a salty-bitter taste and weighs about 1.7 grams per level measuring teaspoon. Capsules may contain less than 1% magnesium stearate, an inert ingredient used in the encapsulation process.
