Acetyl L-Carnitine CL
Description
Acetyl L-Carnitine (Acetyl Carnitine) is a more bio available form of the amino acid L-Carnitine and is involved in many metabolic functions. As an antioxidant, Acetyl L-Carnitine can protect neurons from damage caused by super oxide radicals. Acetyl L-Carnitine is involved in other aspects of neuronal metabolism and its molecular structure resembles the neurotransmitter Acetylcholine. Also, Acetyl Carnitine supplementation supports energy utilization through fatty acid metabolism in the mitochondria. Acetyl L-Carnitine is the most easily assimilated and the most stable form of Carnitine.
Jo Mar's Acetyl L-Carnitine is 100% pure U.S.P. grade crystalline free form. The powder is water soluble, has a sour taste and weighs about 3.2 grams per level measuring teaspoon. Capsules may contain less than 1% magnesium stearate, an inert ingredient used in the encapsulation process.
